Students Applause ‘The Lego Batman’ Movie

International movie, ‘The Lego Batman’ had its media screening with selected members of the public and children from Pampers Private School in attendance.
The hall was filled with enthusiastic folks over the new movie and by the end of the movie, it was obvious that their expectations have been met and surpassed. Earlier before the commencement of the movie, a student from Pampers Private School in Lagos had indicated that he would love to be wowed and while leaving the hall he said “And wowed, I was.”

The movie is centred on the city of Gotham, where Batman (Will Arnett), goes on a personal journey to find himself and learn the importance of teamwork and friendship in the hopes of saving Gotham City from a hostile takeover set by The Joker (Zach Galifianakis). The movie was produced by Warner Animation Group and directed by Chris McKay. It stars the voices of Will Arnett, Zach Galifianakis, Michael Cera, Rosario Dawson, and Ralph Fiennes.

Speaking at the screening, the CEO of the leading distribution company in Africa, Blue Pictures, Joy Odiette was evidently excited especially because her platform was able to bring that kind of joy to children who came to see the movie. “I am excited that the children were not disappointed. Seeing their unconstrained reaction over the movie is what has brought this big smile to my face. ‘The Lego Batman’ is a movie for everyone. It got an unequivocal applause from the students. I encourage everyone to come see it at the cinemas when it’s out.”, she said.

The Lego Batman will be in cinemas across Nigeria from February 10.
