Surgeons leave their patient mid-operation to celebrate Chile vs Portugal penalty

Some surgeons were captured on camera pausing in the middle of a surgery to celebrate the result of a tense penalty shootout. between Chile and Portugal. Chilean authorities have called for an investigation after the extraordinary moment was shared on social media
The incident which occurred yesterday, saw the surgeons wearing their gowns and masks while a big screen TV showed the Chile vs Portugal match right there in the theatre.
As soon as Chile's goalkeeper, Claudio Bravo, stopped the ball from getting into the net during the Confederations Cup yesterday, the surgeons are seen jumping up and cheering, with their attention on the match instead of on their patient.
Authorities in the South American country have condemned the action of the surgeons, calling them "irresponsible" and "without ethics". There are also calls for an investigation into the conduct of the surgeons.
Karla Rubilar, a member of the Chile government's Health Commission, said: "This is a serious situation. There are protocols that should be followed for the security and respect of all patients in all hospitals and health clinics. In this case, all of them were broken."
Kemen Finally Reveals What Really Happened Between Him And Tboss

Kemen has come out to finally reveal what happened between he and TBoss as he made the revelation.
He made this known in an interview with PUNCH’s Sunday Scoop. “I believe that Nigerians are very brilliant people and I’ve decided to care less about what is said on social media. The truth lies with me and TBoss. I want Nigerians to realise that the organisers know more than they do. We are in a country where people have the freedom to express themselves and we’re all entitled to our opinions. Some people might see something as right while some other people might view the same thing as wrong, so it has been a battle of words. On that night, I slept before Tboss and I used the duvet that was on the bed to cover myself. When Tboss came to bed, she used the other duvet. When I wanted to go back to sleep, I attempted to cuddle her. In the course of doing that, I had to lift the duvet that was between us. My hand movement that was seen on camera was me trying to make way through the duvet and get close to her. She woke up immediately I wrapped my hands around her; opened the duvet and adjusted her body so she could move closer to me.
And that was where the video stopped. Tboss always slept in a three-quarter short and a spaghetti top which she used as a nightgown. She is not a deep sleeper. She also has the highest stack of alcohol in her cupboard because she rarely drinks. On the night of the incident, I was not drunk, and I don’t think she was too, even though I cannot speak for her. However, I have chosen to move on from all that and focus on the positive gains of the game. I have put everything that happened behind me,” Kemen said. On his relationship with TBoss, he said: Tboss is a great person and I would want to keep her as a friend. I don’t have any grudges against her and I don’t think I ever will. You have to bear in mind that the situation not only affected me, it also affected Tboss negatively too, so we are both in this together. Having a bad feeling towards her would be totally out of place.”

See the way this Tottenham fan was beaten by his own club's fans who thought he was a Chelsea fan

Voller, was severly punched in the face as he left Wembley Stadium on Saturday after the game and even though he's been discharged from hospital, his doctor feels he may permanently lose his eye sight.
According to Police, it was an unprovoked attack and occurred around 7.30pm after the match.
Detective Constable James Robb, of Brent CID, the investigating officer, said: 'This was a violent and unprovoked assault that has left a young man with some terrible injuries that could end up affecting him for the rest of his life.
'This kind of violence has absolutely no place at a football match, and I sincerely hope that those who were with the person responsible do the right thing by Michael, who is a fellow supporter and has supported Tottenham since he was a young boy.
'I’d appeal to all Spurs fans to think hard about whether they have any information about the person who did this. I’ve no doubt that there will be several people who know who did this and I would appeal to anyone with information to get in touch with us or to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.'

Lol. Spanish league Football coach arrested by police after losing 12-0 to Barcelona
Filippo di Pierro, the coach of Spanish third
division club, Eldense, has been arrested by police and taken in for
questioning after his side lost 12-0 to Barcelona B last weekend.
Pierro's
club was smashed to smithereens by a Barcelona B side that had players
like Alex Carbonell, Gerard Gumbau, Alberto Perea, Kaptoum, Marc Cardona
and Nacho Abeledo but Eldense president David Aguilar after the match
denounced the result and asked for help from the Spanish police and La
Liga- which ultimately led to Pierro's arrest.
Pierro's
arrival at the club coincided with when an Italian investment group
that has been accused of corruption took over the club, and it is
believed the coach and the Italian investment group were involved in
match fixing, hence his arrest on Monday night.
According
to reports, bets were reportedly placed on being 8-0 down at half-time
and to lose by 11+ goals. They were 8-0 down at HT and lost 12-0.
Following
the shameful loss, Eldense announced they had ended ties with the group
of Italian investors and would not be playing their six remaining
fixtures of the season.
Meanwhile, Eldense player Cheikh Saad spoke to Spanish radio station RAC1, and confirmed that the game had been fixed.
Saad,
who did not play in the 12-0 defeat, said: “There are four players
involved in match fixing. I don’t care what happens, but when I can, I
will give the names of these players. Half an hour before playing the
game against Barcelona B I was starting, but then I was out of the line
up. They told a teammate this game was fixed and if he wanted to play he
should not score goals. They didn’t ask me as they knew what my answer
would be. The coach knew something, I’m sure, and the players too.”
“The
coach told me to come on and I told him I did not want to. I also told
my teammates on the bench that they shouldn’t go out on to the pitch if
they didn’t want their names to be stained.”
On
Barcelona B, Saad added: “They are not involved in any way. They did
what they had to do, score goals. If it had been me I would have done
the same.”
La Liga president Javier Tebas said:
“We’re going to investigate because there are certain collateral issues
with an Italian investment group that bear the hallmarks of the
possible involvement of an international betting ring with a view to
match-fixing.”
It's a crime for footballers, football administrators, coaches or football employees to engage in football betting.

Arsenal is better than Man U, Liverpool, Chelsea, Barca & Real Madrid - Arsene Wenger says
Despite the possibility of his club not qualifying for the Champions
league, and going another season without silverware, he's said that
Arsenal is the best club in the world and football isn't all about
wining trophies.
The last time Arsenal won a major trophy was in 2004 and fan pressure
for him to leave the club this summer reached an all time high after his
10-2 humiliation at the hands of Bayern Munich in this season's
champions League.
The veteran manager who has been at Arsenal since 1996 has leaped to the
defence of his record, stressing that he has helped build ‘the best
club in the world’.
‘For me Arsenal is the best club in the world and what we have built is absolutely remarkable, not only on the results front but on the values that this club, what we have built,’ Wenger told beIN Sports.
''Of course a football club is about winning, it’s as well about values.‘Nobody talks about that anymore but sport is as well about values and I think integrity, respect, humility, togetherness are very important qualities and if you would visit our club you would see that they really exist on a daily basis.
‘That is part of what I am proud as well.’You can basically say that if you don’t win the championship it is not a successful season and I can understand that but you take clubs like Liverpool and they have not won the Premier League, they are a big club.
‘You have clubs like Man City, Man United, certainly the championship will be won by Chelsea so we have all, and no matter how many we are, Tottenham, all these clubs, every year only one will win it.’

Barca are now 2 points ahead of Madrid but the stands could still change as Real Madrid face Villareal.NYSC attributes death of Kano corp member, Ifedolapo Oladepo, to untreated infection
Authorities of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, have attributed the death of Late Ifedolapo Oladepo, a corp member of the 2016 Batch ‘B’, who died at the National Youth Service Corps orientation camp in Kano, to an untreated renal sepsis infection. This is according to investigations carried out by a panel of Inquiry set up to look into the cause of her death.
The panel's report was presented today by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Solomon Dalung and Director General of the NYSC, Brig-General Suleiman Kazaure, in Abuja. Ifedapo's death which occurred on November 29th, made headline news following allegations that she died due to negligence from the medical team in the camp.
Speaking to newsmen at the presentation of the report by the investigation panel, Kazaure attributed Ifedolapo’s death to her “refusal to disclose an ailment she had been battling with before resuming to camp.” “It is clear that the deceased had an ailment which she did not disclose.
From the doctors’ report, the corps member died of renal sepsis occasioned by infection. Even, to the untrained, kidney infections do not develop and degenerate to the level of mortality in three days (i.e 7th to 29th November, 2016). The deceased first appeared at the camp clinic with complaints of headache and fever, which she said she had been experiencing for two days. On examination, the doctors on duty noticed rashes on her legs, which she claimed started appearing as a result of her use of a second-hand knickers she bought without first washing it.
Doctors noticed increase in the rashes on her legs, the deceased still dismissed it as a reaction to usage of a second-hand knicker. By this time, she had been vomiting. Therefore, she was admitted at the camp clinic and treated with Drazamol injection and Piriton to soothe her body pains as she was already on malaria drugs.” According to Kazaure, after her case degenerated, she was immediately referred to Gwarzo General Hospital for further treatment, where, after examination, “the doctor concluded that the deceased had kidney infection probably due to untreated urinary tract infection.”
“The investigation showed that the deceased responded well until about 2:00am on 29th November when her condition worsened, and her body began to show noticeable signs of fluid retention. She was thereafter placed on oxygen as the doctors battled to stabilise her for the long journey to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital
Fights, red cards & end to end action as Pep Guardiola's Man City is humiliated 1-3 by Chelsea (summary/photos)
Who says Chelsea can't win the premier league this season? Chelsea proved on Saturday that if there's any team that deserves to win this season it's themselves as they came from behind to whitewash Man City 3-1 at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola's side, title contenders themselves, took the lead shortly before the break as Chelsea defender Gary Cahill deflected a Jesus Navas cross into his own net while Azpilicueta and Thibaut Courtois watched on.
Chelsea reacted in superb fashion as goals from Diego Costa, Willian and Eden Hazard in the 60th, 70th and 90th minute ensured a great win and a great dent on premier league poster boy Pep Guardiola's title ambitions.
It was also a very emotional and intense match as Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho almost started a fight while Sergio Aguero and Fernandinho were both sent off late on, after a dangerous tackle on David Luiz.
We never know what can happen in the EPL , but for now, the sky remains blue!

4 reasons Mikel Obi is yet to get married
Super Eagles midfielder John Mikel Obi is yet to be married despite seemingly having it all; a cute girlfriend, wealth and even kids.
At the age of 29, the Super Eagles skipper is ripe for marriage in respect to the African culture, and to many it may come as a surprise that he has not yet taken the mother of his kids, Olga Diyachenko to the altar since engaging her in 2014.
Mikel and Olga Diyachenko
The duo have been dating since 2013 after reportedly meeting in London where her millionaire father runs a chain of businesses.
Googist.blogspot.com Sports explores four fan and media theories on why the Chelsea midfielder is not yet married.
1. The issue of the former lovers
For a while, there were reports in 2015 that Mikel Obi fathered a four-year-old son and a one-year-old daughter after short relationships with two women.
It was reported that the Olympic medalist bought children for his former lovers and he might not want to get married yet…just so his former lovers would not be jilted.
Probably he does not want marriage yet so he can have his former lovers settled and his other children old enough.
2. The life of a footballer makes you less settled with all the travelling
Everyone knows the life of a top level footballer is an uneasy one. Despite having all the money and good things in life, footballers are hardly ever settled. It seems a common trend to hear a married footballer travel with his club to another country for an European game or pre-season tour and get involved with other women.
Mikel Obi might be scared that he would heart the ‘love of his life’ if he gets married as he knows he might not be faithful.
3. Pops wants a black Igbo girl
Mikel’s father is rich in his own right, owning a transport company in the East and according to reports he is very traditional. Reports in 2014 suggested that he was not yet married becauset he father is not fully ‘ok’ with his relationship with a white woman.
Which Nigerian parent has ever been ok with that?
Mikel’s girlfriend and his kids
4. Unsettled club future
For the best part of a year, Mikel’s Chelsea career has been uncertain. Some reports claim he would be sold, others claim the club is still assessing his future at the club.
‘The African Zidane’ might have to leave London if he leaves Chelsea (his contract expires in the summer of 2017) and that could have a real strain on his relationship with Olga Diyachenko.
In the case he joins Besiktas or Schalke 04 as widely reported, he would have to leave London and that would take him away from his children.
We are sure the Super Eagles skipper would not want to be married only to get divorced a few years later.
These are just theories and we wish Mikel Obi a happy married life to whoever he takes to the alter…

Juventus do not want to sell Bonucci but a bid in the region of €60m may be
difficult for the Serie A champions to reject.
Guardiola views the defender as an automatic first choice should he be signed with
the defender impressing in Italy’s Euro 2016 campaign, and would bring technical
ability and vast experience to City’s side.
Guardiola is worried about the injury record of club captain Vincent Kompany.
With MartÃn Demichelis having departed, the other at the back are Eliaquim Mangala,
who has disappointed since joining from Porto for £42m two years ago, Argentina’s
Nicolás Otamendi, and the untested Jason Denayer who has spent the past two
seasons on loan at Celtic and Galatasaray.

Bonucci has 62 caps, has won five Serie A titles, two Coppa Italia medals, and is

centre-back pairings ever.
Nigerian wonderkid confirms Arsenal transfer

The 18-year-old midfielder posted photos online of him with Arsene Wenger and Laurent Koscielny, as well as him holding up his new shirt.
He stated that his “new life begins” at Arsenal.
Nwakali is understood to have signed for a £3million fee agreed with the country’s Diamond Football Academy.
